Thai Chicken Curry with Green Beans over Steamed Rice

Thai Chicken Curry with Green Beans over Steamed Rice

Regular price $ 14.00

A warming curry dish, done simply with our house-made red curry sauce made with onion, fresh cilantro, basil, and finished with organic coconut milk!

Originally we made this dish with chinese long beans, but if you've ever had them before, you know they're typically a little chewier and squeakier than a normal green bean. So we've switched that and we're either using a traditional green bean or a haricot vert which meals "bean green" in French. Outside of the name basically being the same the traditional green bean and it's french cousin are quite different in both texture and flavor. The green bean typically takes on a thicker curved shape and has a stronger beany flavor where as the french green bean is mild in flavor, thin and straight as as desert horizon!
